He Asked and I Said YES!!

Y'all just thought I was way behind on posts...Now I am engaged, and my mind is in a whole different world of happiness!! Kyle and I have been engaged five days now and these have been the best days ever. Everything  about that night was perfect!

The proposal was more perfect than I could have ever imagined! Simple (just like us), but with a whole lot of thought (just like KYLE!). After he proposed both of our families were all waiting for us at his parents house. Our families mean a lot to each of us so this was the perfect end to a PERFECT night. Kyle has ALWAYS been good at making everything so special!!!

AHHH! I really feel like the luckiest girl in the whole wide world! For the past six years the Link's have always made me feel like family, but I can't wait to LEGALLY be a part of such an amazing family!

If you've been following along you know I've grown up in the South, and you've probably figured out my love for the history, culture, and traditions of the South. Southern belles, "yes mam" and "no mam", my mom's sweet tea, college football games, the SAINTS, Sunday morning church, and spending the afternoon swinging on the back porch (in100 degree weather with 90% humidity)....Between the bright yellow, the vintage lace, and pearls I've been using you might get a little feeling of the South. These are all the things that inspire me to create.
